KNC INTERNATIONAL WOOD IS A LEADING COMPANY NOT ONLY IN SECTORS AS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BUT ALSO IN EQUALLY IMPORTANT ASPECTS AS IT IS THE ENVIRONMENT.
OUR COMPANY IS THE ONLY COMPANY IN OUR SECTOR AWARDED WITH EMAS.
The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a management tool for companies and other organisations to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance. The scheme has been available for participation by companies since 1995 and was originally restricted to companies in industrial sectors.

We are proud to participate successfully to such programs. KNC is working for the environment hardly and by multiple ways.
Our company as installed specialized systems for the capture of our VOC emissions through pipes and specific filters.
In addition our facilities have been built so that all fluid waste which are created by the contact of our products with rain waters are gathered in tanks and after following a specific chemical process of cleaning using hydrofloc and since the waters are clean and clear we let them to a small river near our facilities.
Researches made to the waters of the rill have shown that the waters are totally clean and without any chemical contents that may cause health problems.
In addition KNC international Wood is the only Greek company member of WEI the European Institute Wood Preservation.
We are close to all European developments in new Directives and laws and we participate through our Institute to all progresses and decisions that have been made to our Sector.
